Now that sim card registration is very near to implement in the Philippines, it will be exciting for many business owners for selling sim cards.
PhilSys ID is the start of change for many Filipinos. Why? Through government initiative, every Filipino will no longer have a problem for official ID when opening account in a bank and availing government services.
With the help of PhilSys ID and sim registration, evil acts like scam, data stealing, online fraud and fake documents can be eliminated.
This will only possible if the government will create an app to check the validity of the PhilSys card. I observed this already when I was working in Singapore. All ID such as Visa card can be checked using an app. That app can determine the validity and other related information that will help the company, the person who got the ID, and other establishment. Actually National ID in Singapore helps individual in monitoring the spread of corona virus.
Hopefully once implemented, stores whether big or small can access an app and register the sim for all consumers.
This initiative is a great thing to be excited by many Filipinos.
