Word of God is the way to life that is stated in the Holy Bible. Stated in Matthew 4:4: But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. and in Luke 4:4: And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
As a Christian it should be a daily devotion or a necessity of life to be fed by the word of God. It is also the way to make your life prosperous. As stated in Joshua 1:8 (NIV), “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.“
Focusing on a certain Bible verse or a paragraph will be a good start. As a believer, you have the holy spirit with you. The holy spirit will direct you and guide you for a good Bible verse to ponder. A meaningful and heartfelt prayer is a good way when you are just starting to meditate the word of God.
The best book of the Bible to get more understanding and wisdom is the book of Proverbs. It is the book written by King Solomon, the wisest and richest man who ever lived. When you go deeper on Proverbs, I believe that God will reveal to you the hidden treasures of life and the importance of wisdom.
As you do it regularly, I believe that there will be more revelation of good things from God. Your mind will be renewed, your strength will increased and your youth will be renewed like the Eagle. You will also discover that all God’s promises are Yes and Amen in Christ.
The more you discover God’s message, your Spirit grow and your knowledge and revelation of who God is will be revealed. Moreover, all the verses you meditated will be stored into your mind, you will memorised it instantly, live with it and applied it to your life.

Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;

And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
