How many times have you heard the phrase “Stop worry about it”! Yes, me too. I know it’s easier said than done. But we all do this, we worry about something too much and at the end, things are just the way they should be. Sometimes, we worry about something that hasn’t even happened yet, so we want to ensure ourselves in advance.

We should learn to recognize our concern and replace it with thinking! The concern is when your thoughts are occupied with problems and thinking is when you are focused on solving the problem. Worry is useless and thinking is a process that really brings something positive. I will tell you what helped me to worry less and to bring out the positive things – to be more happy!

Worry only for a good reason!

We mostly worry about things we do not have control over. It is very likely that your problem is not that you have too many things to worry about, but that you don’t have enough strategies to deal with the problem. The best way to start is to make a list of things you worry about and think about solutions. Also, write down the worst possible scenario you expect. If you believe you could handle it, then stop worrying.

Imagine the best possible scenario

Visualize how you handle the problem and how you have successfully solved it. If you can not imagine the best scenario possible, it will be difficult to achieve it. Whenever something goes the way you haven’t planned, ask yourself what is positive about it. If you are anxious, be comfortable with whatever happens because you will know how to deal with it.

Do everything you can

Are you standing there doing nothing? It makes you more nervous than you actually think. Most people start solving problems when they accumulate. Face with anything that makes you anxious today, don’t wait for the last moment. You will be happier at the end of the day.

Be kind to yourself

Often, only a bit of encouragement is needed to overcome all concerns. Sometimes we are our own the worst enemies. We must be strong support to ourselves, the one we may only expect from our best friend.

Keep yourself occupied

The best way to stop worrying is to challenge your mind. Keep it busy. Engage in activities that make you happy and require your full attention. Research has shown that the happiest people are those who spend less time in front of the TV. One of the reasons is that the television does not allow you to focus completely. To end this vicious circle, talk with a good friend. Another good distraction is when you do something that requires physical activity. Moving the body requires concentration, so there will not be enough room for worries.

Go to bed early

This may not be logical, but a proper dream is needed for stability and happiness. When you stop worrying and calm your thoughts, you will be able to fall asleep. When you think about it, you need it in the middle of the day, not just in the evening. If you can do this before you fall asleep, it means you can do it whenever you want.

Smile!

Of course it can be difficult to laugh in a difficult situation. Select a few moments and remember them when you want to laugh. Store them in your thoughts and pull them out whenever it’s hard. It has been proven that even fake laugh improves good mood.

Remember to not take yourself too serious! In life, we will get as much as we can handle, both the bad and the good things. Therefore, we should focus on the good things to come to us, because what has to be will be, and our limited time on this earth should not pass in worry.
