We wake up 7:05 am. We have fetched by the staff of the travel agency by 7:30 am.
At 9:30 we arrived at the reception of seastarandaman. We enjoyed the nice breakfast buffet. We are delighted with the foods. It is my first time to eat those Thai foods, most of them are made of coconut and glutinous rice which I really love.
Before 11:00 am we left the area and head towards the islands of PhiPhi Don, PhiPhi Leh and Khai Island.
PhiPhi Leh Island is where “The Beach Movie” shot. According to our tour guide, Mr. JunJun, Maya Bay or Maya Beach is not the only place where the movie shot. It was shot within the PhiPhi Leh Island.
What I really enjoyed with the tour guide is he asked for peace for everyone. He encouraged us to help them as they are helping us What a great spirit!
Before we go on board the boat, one of the boatmen gets our footwear and put it into black garbage bag.
During the briefing session, Junjun, our head tour guide, asks our cooperation for the time schedule. It is a respect for them and for the travelers as well. He mentioned the Dos and Don’ts for our safety and protection. He included a disclaimer that weather or sea condition is beyond their control and asked for our understanding. True enough, it is by nature!
But I prayed already to make our tour peaceful.
The weather is sunny while wind blows naturally with the fresh ocean breeze. The sky is blue and very bright which will make you feel grateful.
(This post is written during the time we were in the boat).
We are now riding a speed boat with about 37 people (based on my counting) inside. I observed that majority of the tourist here came from Western part of the world. I feel that I am in Puerto Galera, Philippines (my hometown). Junjun introduced the 7 members, including him, of this island tour trip that makes our journey smooth sailing.
Inside the large speed boat, they have provided orange life jackets.
I tried to use my phone for video shot but it always ran out of charge (low battery). I am also trying to be a video blogger someday. This is my first time to do video blogs while travelling as part of my Filipino colleagues suggestion. You can visit my youtube channel, BetterandFree, to watch the video.
During our tour, there were some locals who are offering photos shot by them. You can avail it or just ignore their offer. On my end, we grab the video. My niece and her friend bought the photo together with the frame at Khai Island for 200 Baht.
We ended our Island tour at 4:30 pm.
We took our shower first before we bought some souvenirs near our hotel.
During our shopping we met two Filipino travelers as well. We are happy because that’s the first time we saw a Filipino.
Majority of the tourist in Phuket are American and European. Then after two hours of shopping, We had our dinner at Tiger Hotel and Restaurant.
If you really love music and a unique ambiance restaurant, I recommend Tiger Restaurant. This place has the best restaurant we saw within Patong with live band performance. You can request for a song too.
We have requested “Happy Birthday” because that day is Karen’s birthday. Karen is our housemate in Singapore. Moreover, when they knew we are Filipino, they sung “Anak” (child or offspring in English). It melts our heart and we feel so special and admired that time.
After our dinner, that would be around 11:00 pm, we had an hour massage. The massage is so cheap, 250 Baht only. I do not want to mention the Spa because the ambiance is not so nice but the old man masseur is good. I need to be honest, the last part of the massage is not OK but I think it’s part of the massage. So far my body and mind was relax.
I slept around 1:00 am feeling so relax and joyful with our adventure and ready for our flight tomorrow.
