Seeking and finding a way of living is one thing we need to do in order to survive. We look for possibilities of life and pursue what we believe will work on us. Like me, I seek and pursue the life I want to live.
But how this life will lead us to the life we want to live?
As a child, I grew up in the mountain of Puerto Galera, Philippines. I studied my primary school in Dulangan, Puerto Galera. I climb up the mountain which is about one hour daily to pursue my education. So, in total it was almost two hours up and down the mountain. That was so tough for me in pursuing my dream to finish my studies and help my family.
When I was a kid, my life is so simple. Though I want to play more but due to scarcity of living, I need to help my family working in farm; planting root crops and taking care of our coconut farm. If there is a mining then we dig the soil to find a small amount of gold to survive. We are not rich, but compare to other people in slum areas in Manila, we eat enough daily.
During those times, I will climb up the highest top of the mountain which is quiet near from our house. I will look on the beautiful view of the ocean and dream to escape from poverty. Life for me that time is quite tough but I promise to myself that one of these days, I will go down the mountain and live an abundant life.
Remembering my childhood, keeps my life a great journey towards financial freedom. I want to experience the freedom of life. I want to pursue a life whereby I am just writing and editing my works while working at home with my love ones. That is the primary purpose why I created this blog. I want to do what I love and share good things to my readers.
How to live the life you want to live?
Pursuing what you want to live is part of setting goals and pursuing your dreams in line with your values and aspirations. You can check my article about setting SMART goals.
I want to live a life where I have multiple passive incomes and enjoying transforming lives through motivational talks. I love talking with people who have been successful. I really admire people who became successful with their integrity and goodness towards others.
By the way, I am currently working as a Business Intelligence Analyst here in Singapore. I love numbers and computers. But I am loving spiritual talks and pursuing God’s leading this time. I am still clueless of what will lie ahead of my journey but I have Faith and Hope that everything will be good.
To sum up my desire, this is somehow idealism but I feel I can do it with the help of God. I want to create more apartments, a beach resort in my hometown, more passive incomes as I mentioned above, and a glass house; my ultimate dream in life. I also dreaming to marry an Australian lady; hopefully in two years’ time.
Life sometimes is tough; but it gives meaning of who God is and who we are as His creator. As I learn on my journey, life is easy; sometimes we just complicate it.
Life is learning process. We need to endure every trial, as we face a victorious life of how God wants us to be.
Life is a gift, enjoy it.
