There are a lot of marketing strategies online. But based on my experience, I have three major strategies where you can use to make your small business startup less expensive on marketing when you are just starting your own business.

When I started our waxing salon business, the most crucial way is to find customers. We have the best aesthetician and service but what we lack is the marketing strategy we will use.

The major problem we encounter as we started our own business is marketing. I was a business intelligence by profession while my sister is an expert wax technician.

The thing that we struggle is how our customers will truly know our business. Since our capital is budgeted, we did our own marketing campaign. We used social media advertising using Facebook which I consider cheap and effective. We also used the traditional marketing which is flyers but it does not have any result.

As we ran our business on our day to day operation, most of our clients came from Google search, Facebook and tarpaulin. But the highest numbers were from Facebook.

So here are the three ways where you can get your customers without spending any money.

1.) Create a Google Account for Business

Google as tech giant search engine will help your company to be found via search. It is totally free. You just need to create a google business account and once you created you can easily search the name of your company even if you do not have website. You just need to key in your phone number, business hours and services or products you are offering. You just need to do some trial and error to make it on top of the google search.

I advise to ask your new clients to review your business on google. Their reviews can help you to be on top of google search.

2.) Create a Facebook Business Page

As you created an online presence to make your business known in your city or even worldwide, Facebook page is a must. It gives you more ways to reach your prospect clients.

Take note that creating Facebook page is free. Moreover, it can reach more people when you post updates to your page from time to time. You can update your page daily or 3 times a week.

3.) Create an Instagram Account

Creating an Instagram account will also give you also free marketing without any cost; otherwise, you boost your post by paying small amount of money. Creating post, inviting Instagram users, using hashtags and following others will give you more and more followers. You can use hashtags also to make it more popular.

If you are a small business and just started your company, the mentioned three ways to boost your online presence is a big help for you because we are all living in an era where technology plays an increasingly role where everything is digital.

Traditional marketing such as flyers and advertisements on radio station do not have much result on our business.
