Glass panel at Star Vista falls : God saved me! | A story of Faith

Singapore – Church events like Easter Sunday or resurrection Sunday is one of the most awaited time for me as a believer. And today, I will share to everyone God’s faithfulness as what He promised in Psalms 91.

I normally attend church service at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) or PLQ Mall which is nearer than Star Vista. Today, I wake up 6:00 AM and left the condo I am renting at around 7:00 AM. 

Before the accident happened and experienced God’s protection. I have one prayer that God answered me before the first service started. Here is the story which I posted on my Facebook Account.

God amazes me with so much possibilities today.

I can’t explain! I queue in a long way, I walked in a long side. Ushers said go to the other way. Hmmm, I want to be in the front seat today coz I wake up early (6:00 AM), for Eater Sunday celebration. But because Pasir Ris is far from Star Vista, I arrived 8:16 am. Still early, but special events like today, Easter Sunday, a lot of believers are attending and other visitors from all walks of life, and even worldwide.

This is another testimony that I hear God’s voice again!

I prayed along the way and God answered, “Do not worry I’ll give you a better seat!”. With His gentle and loving voice.

Then I walked the other way, ushers told me, “ 1 seat only, come!”, then during the time I am heading towards the vacant seat, an old man occupied. Then another usher approached us, she said, “seat for two”. The usher accompanied me, said, “only for 1”. She said, “come!”.

I was astonished, I am under His care, my seat is 5th row from the front where it is so close and is intended normally for reserved seats. Coz this is an area where they closed it.

Plus I can see very well the performance which is lively and gracefully!

God is so so GOOD! Hallelujah, Praise Jesus, He is alive!

After that, the glass fall pane accident happened. After the service, I went to Rock bookstore first to buy a Holy Com element because there is a long queue at HarriAnns Nonya. HarriAnns Nonya is my favourite place because of Kueh. It is something similar with our rice cakes or “kakanin” from Philippines.

As usual, I took a photo of my food and uploaded it on my Facebook Account. After I posted the photo, suddenly I heard a loud noise from above then I saw a broken block of glass that will surely hit me and all are falling apart… small, tiny, big blocks of glass. I feel like I am in movie… the slow motion scene is real! 

I am thinking to run but I stopped and a voice inside of me which I believe the Holy Spirit to turn right. Then I turn right, bow my head, put the my hands over my heard. After the big splash sounds of broken glasses stopped, I opened my eyes. I was shocked, but for some reason which I cannot explained there is a joy inside my heart and I remembered Psalms 91. God saved me by His promises on that Psalms! When I turn around, I saw an uncle shouting, “Move..”, he said. 

Then I turn my eyes to other people no one is moving. Then I saw on the floor, the pieces of glasses. Mental blocked!

Sorry to tell you this, but because I am so hungry, there is a kueh on the meal that I ordered. It is sealed, put it inside my pants pocket and afterwards eat it to relieve my hungry stomach.

This is not my first time to experience miracle in life. I know better or best days are coming that God will do more BIG things to my life. Indeed, God is good all the time.

By the way to the three (3) ladies who helped me to remove the small pieces of glasses over my head, and the tissue they gave to me, Thank you so so much!

After the incident, I went to the comfort room (toilet), to shake off all the small glass particles inside my polo coz I feel itchy. The only harm that I have is my hands, a bit hurt because I tried to use it when removing the broken glasses over my head.
