For the past few months, I faced a situation where I need to choose or a moment where I would say, “What shall I do next?”
“Lord, what shall I do?” Those are the things I uttered on my prayer.
I was exhausted with my work… I want to transfer to other country… I want to resign…
Those are my plans. But what should I choose from?
I am grateful we have a so called, “Life Group or Care Group”. So, I asked one of the Filipino members for this decision. She told me to read the Bible and meditate Bible verses.
Those times, I was impatient and I wanted to decide fast.
As I walk with God and spend time reading the His Words on the Bible and hearing sermons over YouTube every night after work. I got a clear revelation.
Then suddenly, there’s a clarity in my mind. I think of better ways such as continue my work and wait patiently until a better opportunity or opportunities comes. Moreover, once my apartment has been constructed and my house Airbnb has been fit out, added passive income will be added. This is really dream, to be an intelligent investor.
Aside from that, last Sunday I experienced another God’s faithfulness in my life.
On my apartment construction, there are two options which I need to decide; I really need wisdom. My roof needs to be built by a group of contractors; one from my sister and the other one is from my brother. My sister’s option is a bit high then on my brother side, it is a lower. Which one I need to choose, the affordable one or the expensive one? What if the affordable has quality of work which is the same as the expensive one or it can be worst?
Last Saturday before I sleep, I prayed to God for the decision I need to make. I asked God who I need to accept? Then suddenly the following Sunday, the pastor in our church preached on the way I should decide. But I told God, let Him decide for me because I am not so sure of my decision.
You know what after the church service; my brother agreed the contractor chose by my sister. With that, I don’t need to decide. Choosing the right contractor becomes smooth.
All Glory to God!
