I am so grateful that for the very first time, I reached the S$150 Singapore dollars threshold in Google Adsense.
Happiness outpour in my heart that my blog is earning pretty well now. Indeed, you can earn money online. Awesome!
It took me a lot of patience, hard work, prayer, and time to get what I have now. This blog is growing more than what I expected. At first, I am having a hard time if I will make it or not.
This blog site started way back 2018. I always renew my domain with my own money. I am not pretty earning well for about 3 years.
Then pandemic hits up the whole world where I really enjoy telling stories and sharing knowledge with other people on many “How To” on this blog. I do not have work so what I did is to tell more inspiring stories. Actually, it is more than the money that I am enjoying from Google Adsense. It is more on enjoyment and purpose.
At first, when I was working in a billion-dollar company in Singapore, I asked help from other people from Fiverr to write an article on this blog. I paid $5 to $10 per article. It costs me a lot including my domain and my hosting.
By the way, my Google Adsense has been approved after 6 months that I decided to use my own hosting and WordPress. I had my blog using blogspot before but Google Adsense did not approve my application. That time I do not really know how to earn money in blogging. I do not have any idea of this money online.
Then 2020 was the year I left my work in Singapore. I started to invest in my sister’s business but I failed. I loss almost 200K pesos because I believed and my sister told me that there is money in waxing salon. But that was just a theory. After almost a year, we closed our salon.
Since, I have this blog, I just continue writing content that will help other people’s lives more valuable. I do not know how will I start again. My mind primarily works with data and numbers then suddenly, I embark into blog. I was a business intelligence analyst before.
I do not know how I can attain my threshold in Google Adsense. I was so surprise when I wrote one article that became a hit. There is a huge traffic; but my earning on Google Adsense was so small like $5 a month.
Then when I looked and studied other people’s blog, I saw some ads above and sometimes when I navigate on their website there is an ad floating below and sometimes on top of the heading. That is the time I discovered vignette. I immediately applied it here on my blog. Voila! It works! My earnings go higher everyday as I write daily and improve my blog content.
Moreover, I got more knowledge that whatever learning I had on this website, I applied it to my video blog on Youtube. While I am celebrating success on this blog site, I am also celebrating my success on my Youtube channel.
Then this February 2022, I already reached my threshold amounting to $150 Singapore dollars and hopefully this year I will experience more breakthrough and more inspiration to share with my readers including you.
