Like most bloggers out there, I am a person who wants to go outside the 9-5 jobs and blogging is one of my ways to escape it. At this point of time, I just want to show to the whole world how grateful I am that I earned my first ever $16 dollars on blogging.

I started my blogging way back 2012 where I wrote news articles and showbiz stories within the Philippines; www.newstrendzph.com was my domain. By that time social media is not yet a hit. I normally watched TV shows and then wrote my opinion and reaction. During that time, I am using blogger.com. I tried my very best to earn money using Google adsense; but every time I applied to be approved, I always failed.
Then, one of my classmates told me to use wordpress.
It took me a lot of energy to study wordpress and avail hosting with hostgator. That time I was an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) and I can really afford to pay my domain and my hosting.
2018, I started this web blogs, www.betterandfree.co. This is the blog site where I immerse myself with technology, business, and personal excellence in life. I tried my very best to find the niche. Since I love studying life, business and technology, these are the topics that I want to incorporate on this blog.
2019, I hired 3 writers to write on this blog but it seems that my readers and people who come to my blog are not so huge enough to cover up my expenses. Then I decided to stop and do it on my own.
2020 was the year that I decided to go back in the Philippines. I was sicked, I was stressed, I was in a huge debt, but I still have my hope that everything will works well.
2021 came and I was shocked that I got $15 dollars from adsense. It’s not so big but I believe, it will be a starting to earn money online. My desire and passion for writing fires up again.
At this point of time there is a light within me and a great passion to come back on writing because I have $16 now on my adsense account. Even if it’s small but I believe that small things can be big in the future. I believe that when you start small you can dream big.
I believe that when I was in primary/elementary, I do not know how to read and write but eventually I learned. Same as in blogging, I just start it knowing and believing that there is a diamond on it that needs dig to find it.
This story of $16 blogging, will be soon an inspiration for many Filipinos and other bloggers worldwide.
This blog is going to see more on social media and going to tell more stories of how-to, business start-ups, inspiration, and a lot of more.
