As of writing this article, I am so grateful that I got my first 500 subscribers. Yahoo! It took me a lot of patience, perseverance, faith, determination, and unconditional love of what I am doing to attain this small victory in my life.
If you are just starting as a Youtuber or a content creator, milestone like this is a big victory already. With billions of people all over the world, I got 500 loyal and loving subscribers who trusted me online.
Primarily, my content is more on know How To. This is why I got huge traffic in Youtube. Just what this blog is all about, knowing other things on the internet helped me to rise.
Another thing that I learn in creating a product or service to other people is giving value. When you give value to others, your audience or subscribers will be more valuable and when your channel gives valuable content your worth goes up. That is what success is only for few people. Most of the people on this planet chase money. As I hear and learn from people who are on top, I always heard value and prudence.
Prudence is part of being wise. To attain wisdom, you need to be prudent.
Here is how I did to attain my first 500 subscribers.
- Do not engage to “Sub To Sub” Scheme. This is purely not good for Youtubers who are just starting their channel. It is so tiring when you do this and it is not sustainable.
- Focus on your Content. Learn how to engage subscribers when they compliment and engage to your video. Teach them well and let them easily understand if your content is to inform or to teach.
- Be Patient: Most of your subscribers will subscribe to you organically. So, it’s from their preference and not because you did the sub to sub or force other people to subscribe to your channel. It should be on their own interest.
- Have Faith. Faith is essential in our lives. Trust and integrity will follow. It gives you aspiration to continue and believe on your craft and what God gave to you.
- Share your Content to Forum. I was rejected a lot of time in many forums but when I have given a chance to help people to solve their How To and questions which I am knowledgeable I invited them to my channel.
- Post Content Regularly. Upload videos at least once a week. This will help Youtube Algorithm to suggest your video with viewers who are seeking for the topic or content they want. Youtube is our ally.
My channel is growing everyday. I believe that one million (1M) subscribers is attainable in due time but at this time, I am grateful that having 500 subscribers will be big achievement for me already and more success in the future.
I hope and believe that when you trust the process, yourself and God, everything will work very well. Just keep on hustling and dreaming and all the seeds you plant will grow and prosper.
