Getting $1000 a month from blogging is a serious work that you need reach if that is your goal. Like having a goal in life, you need to be clear, concrete and decisive enough on your dream to your blog.
Having a $1K a month earning is my ultimate goal on this blog. I do not earn that amount yet but there is an improvement everyday. Currently my page views a month is 20K to 25K. Because I am a full-time blogger now, I have time to write 2-3 articles a day. With that I believe I can achieve it as I also learn every day.
Here are the things that I consider to reach my goal and be motivated to reach $1,000 earning from blogging.
- Know Your Niche. My niche is about life, money online, how to, and all about technology. I do not have specific niche this time but if I will choose amongst the niches I mentioned, I will choose life. Life is something that I become more interested after I experienced depression twice. I am thankful to God for his guidance during the time that I was in suicidal.
- Create a social media presence. The social media that I created are Twitter and Facebook. If I have “How To” content, I include that idea on my Youtube. Having a social media account, you are helping platforms to create content on which users who are finding solution or answer from a specific topic can be found on that platform. Moreover, with the help of social media, you can easily be found and be more searchable. Google as the number 1 search engine in the world is a big help for you to easily market your content.
- Update Your Blog Regularly. Make it a habit to update your blog. That is the main reason why I blog daily. It helps Google to crawl more often on my content and suggest that content to the users.
- Post a Content that Answer a Question. That is the main purpose of your blog. You are an entrepreneur already. You are creating a valuable content that helps other people’s lives.
- Know your Purpose. I mentioned already earlier the clarity of goal but having a definite purpose will keep you motivated and encouraged everyday to do your work. You need to have persistence and faith of what you are doing.
- Connect with People with the Same Goal. You need to join groups of people who are really passionate to succeed. Those people who are on fire to live the highest potential of their being are the best connection you could ever have. You may consider searching for groups in Facebook with the same mindset on you. Be wise enough to determine the genuine one.
When I was starting this blog site, my primary purpose is to escape the 9-5 work. I do not like that someone will shout to me when I commit a mistake because I believe that everyone is equal. Respect is something precious on me. I respect myself and that is one thing I want others do to me.
I am believing and hoping that this year will be the year where I can attain my goal and can sell some digital products like a book in Amazon.
