When I go back in blogging last 2018, I am quite hesitant because I failed my first blog. My motivation to continue is to get out of 9-5 day working job because I am not happy with my boss in Singapore. My work in that MNC is toxic and so much pressure but on the other hand, I treasure some good things and see the silver lining behind.
Before I left my job, I was hospitalized in Singapore alone last November 2020.
During my work in Singapore, I tried my best to write a lot of articles as much as I can. I hired writers also from Fiverr.
I also remember the time that I was working in a bank as an Information Technology Head, I did the blogging already. The hard part of it is I was rejected by Google AdSense thrice (3 times). That time I was using Blogspot.
Now that I invested time and money, I was able to generate more traffic and my Google AdSense account has been approved. Praise God! It took me time to learn and I am more determined to win now. Having Google AdSense is a great thing to have when you are starting your own blog.
When I was in Singapore, I didn’t think that my blog will grow. Actually I tried to find Marketing Company here in the Philippines to handle SEO on this blog. The quotation I got was $2,000 or equivalent to Php 100,000. I do not have idea that time, but before I agreed with the contract, I stopped first and see if it’s reasonable. I decided to not to go through and consider my own effort.
Growing this blog is one of my dreams in life. It is more than just a blog now. It is a way of life for my readers and for other people who wants to know the “How To” in anything they are doing and How I can impart my journey of applying wisdom that I got online and through reading the Bible.
Actually, my biggest dream is to earn million online through blogging. It may be BIG for many but I will just try. There is no harm in trying. I believe that through persistence, hard work, prayer, faith, and perseverance everything is possible.
The last time I wrote an article, this blog was earning $5 a week and currently I am getting $3 a day. With that idea, I am hopeful to write inspiring and informative content on a daily basis.
Daily blogging will be a job this time aside from managing our small grocery store (we call it sari-sari store) in our community here in the Philippines. Writing a daily blog will give you also an assurance that Google will help you to grow your blogging business.
