Squid Game is a major hit in Netflix for many Filipinos. It is one of the most popular on Social media at this time, especially on Facebook. The series highlighted some of the current situations worldwide which everyone should learn from the wisdom shared by the whole team of mentioned series.

That is the reason why we decided to collect all wisdom shared by netizens online. 

What is Squid Game?

Squid Game is a South Korean Netflix intense drama series directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk. Casts of the mentioned drama includes Lee Jung-ja, Park Hae-soo, O Yeong-su, Wi Ha-joon, Jung Ho-yeon, Heo Sung-tae, Anupam Tripathi, and Kim Joo-ryoung. The game is being played by 456 people from different walks of life who are all in debt. They are invited to play the game to win 45.6B Korean Won or equivalent to US$38.7M. For every game, the pot of money increases but every player needs to sacrifice their lives as a consequence if they loose.

Wisdom in Life We can Learn from Squid Game

1. Do not borrow money if you cannot afford it or be confident to pay it back. Or don’t borrow money if you still have debts on the line to pay. Interest will eventually increase, leaving you in more debt.
2. Desperation motivates people to create unthinkable, bad decisions. So be mindful.
3. One’s educational background does not guarantee success.
4. Do not trust anyone; literally anyone. Do not trust people easily. Always be wise.
5. Don’t doubt your ability; it will save you in any decision you make.
6. Greed clouds one’s judgment.
7. You are responsible for your feelings. You control it; you overcome it. It isn’t fair that you will make fun of other lives because you found yours boring.
8. Humanity is good. Humanity is bad. But humanity is us; we create and decide for its goodness and badness.
9. 1 Timothy 6:10a For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.
10. Do not be greedy for money
11. Ensure that you and your family are insured, in case of sickness or in times of need.
12. If you got your family insured, do not terminate your policy for short term gains; you’ll never know when you’ll need it.
13. Our choice determined our future.
14. Time is very important.
15. Enjoy life, Do what makes you happy.
16. Think first in every decision you make. Be prudent!
